Creative Research + Transdisciplinary Collaboration with Ecosystems
Sensing ecosystems, understanding phenomenologies and relationships, spanning scales. Outdoors and in, rural and urban. What are the idiosyncratic-yet-universal insights waiting to be sensed, spoken, and celebrated?
Artwork + Exhibitions
Letting the light out, water quality-of-life, trees-as-mentors, sparkle as lifeblood, emulating hydrogen bonds… Often, exhibitions grow naturally out of research endeavors but other times, the work speaks to a curatorial theme elsewhere.
Speaking, Teaching, + Writing
Be it symposium presentations, artist talks, panel discussions, or classroom conversations, I love me some shop talk.
Current course authorship and instruction: Environmental Artsat Rutgers University. In process: Creative Relationship with the Environment.
Upcoming chapter: “A Process of Acquaintance: Going Low, Pokey-ing Holes, and Dancing with Dissolution”
Workshops + Experience Curation
Connecting with Trees: Collective Consciousness, Relational Drawing, Finding Sparkle…workshops are adaptable to a wide range of audiences and contexts. But also, sometimes workshops are too “node-like;” experience curation synthesizes contexts and desires to turn ideas into dynamic, unfolding offerings.
Process Choreography + Dynamic Systems Consulting
GROUNDWORK is an interdisciplinary, process-oriented creative research platform that generates ideas, connections, resources, strategies, resilience, and momentum. Either within this platform or simply by wearing its hat, I help individuals, teams, and institutions choreograph project rhythms, establish fluidity among workflow pathways, and usher in relationship expansion. I recognize opportunities for order within a dynamic process, orchestrating energy exchange and crystalizing options into action. (Ex. article here.)
Relational Leadership
Interspersed through it all is relational leadership. Listen, absorb, participate, transmit: let’s elegantly, creatively, kindly, and joyfully recalibrate the round table.
